Highly lamellar talc products and the microlamellar MISTRON® types known from the rubber industry are a good solution for these applications.
Ultra-fine JetFil and JetFine types using jetmill technology are also available in compacted form. The increased bulk density allows a balance between maximum material throughput in the extruder and redispersion without additional additives and increases your material output at high loading levels.
There are also other products that can be used as antiblock additives with good dart-drop properties in PE films or as nucleating agents in semi-crystalline plastics.
