LUVOSINT® – Materials for powder bed fusion processes

LUVOSINT® materials are powders for laser sintering procedures and other 3D printing processes based on powder bed fusion. Below you will find an overview of our current product portfolio. If you require special versions in individual colors and exclusive product development, please contact us in person.

As a strong, wear-resistant and elastic material, LUVOSINT® TPU opens up new application opportunities. Thanks to its convenient processing window and  full recyclability of the powder cake, it is a natural choice for the cost-effective production of large quantities; with tailor-made shoes and clothes, complex tube geometries or orthopedic parts being just some examples of new 3D print applications. Individual colors are available on request.

LUVOSINT® PP is a tough and hard PP type based on a random copolymer. It exhibits an exceptionally high chemical resistance in aggressive atmospheres or media. Due to the high melting point and HDT value, the material also retains these characteristics at high temperatures. Parts can be welded and pigmented at a later stage.

As a black colored Polyamide 12 powder LUVOSINT PA12 9270 BK is perfectly suitable for automotive applications but also for industrial manufacturing of black components in general. In addition, LUVOSINT PA12 9270 BK material is a sustainable improvement of current PA12 materials in the market; almost 50% of the part bed powder generated with traditional sintering powders is waste that cannot be reused in the process. LUVOSINT PA12 9270 BK can be recycled entirely in the following print jobs. This avoids waste and makes PA12 laser sintering much more cost effective.

Printed parts can be ordered here: www.schwarzeteile.de.

INFINAM® 6500 P is an SLS plastic powder based on polyamide 613. PA613 is suitable for 3D printing applications in the higher temperature range. Compared to other materials of the polyamide 6 family that are difficult to process, PA613 impresses with its low water absorption, which has a positive effect on the processability in the 3D printing process and the dimensional stability of the printed component. LUVOSINT® PA613 9711 CF is the carbon fiber reinforced powder variant and as such offers increased rigidity and temperature resistance. Special carbon fibers were compounded into the individual plastic particles. Carbon fibers bonded in this way comply with applicable occupational health and safety regulations. With a build chamber temperature of 195 °C, both powder variants can be processed on standard SLS printers.

LUVOSINT PPS 9268 BK is based on polyphenylene sulfide and offers typical PPS properties. Printed components meet the requirement sets R1HL3; R7HL3; R17HL3 according to DIN EN 45545-2, the highest flame protection class in railway construction. Declarations of Conformity are available upon request. Build space temperatures of 245 °C require the use of HT-SLS printers. LUVOSINT PPS 9268 BK can be processed with both CO2 and fiber lasers.

Printed components can be obtained from AM-Rauch GmbH & Co. KG, Germany.
